Felipe Matos González

He is a biologist adjusted as the Central University of Venezuela (1959), with a Mastery of the Program of Resources for the Development of the School for Graduates of the IICA, Turrialba, Costa Rica (1967). Candidate for the Ph. D. in Geography of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), 1969. Long trajectory, from 1949, in the Society of Natural Sciences Go out for him, Caracas, where it went so far as to occupy all his managing charges and person in charge for his publications. It occupied the charge of Programme Officer for the Latin America in the UICN (Switzerland) between 1976-1980. It happened then to occupy diverse charges in the IICA (Costa Rica) between 1986-1987, year in which he happened to be one of the founders of the Department of Natural resources of the University for the Peace up to his exit in December, 2001. In November, 2002 it was accepted as associate of Coope Sol i Dar. He is an author or coauthor of botanical articles published between 1953-68, as well as of diverse articles, reports, papers or chapters of books on environmental topics
