She is a lawyer, specialist in environmental law, and candidate to the Doctorate of Alicante, Spain. She has a wide experience in activities of interdisciplinary and interinstitutional character related to the definition of environmental legislation policies and university teaching. She has worked in different projects of multilateral organisms like the World Bank, Interamerican Bank of Development. She has been consultant of the Wild Life Program for Central America (ORMA-UICN); Judicial School of the Supreme Court of Costa Rica and coordinating of the Program of Environmental Legislation for Central America, also of the World Union for Nature (ORMA-UICN), among others. She participates in different international instances of national character and as the International Council of Environmental Right (ICEL), Commission of Environmental Right (CEL) of the World Union for the Nature (UICN), and Regional Collaborator of the Yearbook of Environmental International law, Oxford Press. She is a Vice-president and charter member of ACDA, Costa Rican Association of Environmental Right. At present she is a Manager of Coopesolidar R.L. She has published diverse articles and books related to her speciality, and as a whole with other professionals in a transdisciplinary integration.
